Insect species in the cloud
Two-winged insects such as flies, stink bugs and mosquitoes are most common in the Ølst and Fur Formations. This is followed by ticks, cicadas, butterflies, beetles and grasshoppers, while insects such as dragonflies, damselflies, mantises, cockroaches, earwigs, aphids and scorpion flies are extremely rare.
