GEOLOGICAL TOUR AT FUR MUSEUM

Price: 950 Dkr + entrance during museum opening hours. 1500 Dkr + entrance outside museum opening hours.
Take a tour of Fur Museum’s exhibition with one of the museum’s geologists. The museum houses a unique collection of 54 million-year-old fossils from the molar rock: fish, birds, turtles, insects, trees and plants. You can visit the exhibition independently or have one of the museum’s geologists show you around and answer questions. There will be opportunities to include topics such as dinosaurs, evolution, fossils, paleoecology, paleoclimate and geology in general in the tours. It will also be possible to choose lectures on the interaction between humans and nature or landscape geography if desired. The tour can also be used as preparation for a fossil hunt in the molar.
