FIELD TRIP PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOLS
Examples of topics that can be included: Evolution, paleoecology/paleoclimate, Ice Age landscapes and structural geology. Look at different types of deposits such as till, meltwater sands, marine clays and piers. Fieldwork (sample collection and fossil hunting). Introduction to scientific methodology (categorization of rocks/shoreline rocks based on external characteristics such as color and structural elements), sediments and depositional environments. Based on the above points, it is possible to get help to put together a field trip program that suits your needs.
